About Me

I graduated with a bachelors degree in strategic communication from The Ohio State University. I have since pursued my passions and skillsets through a career in writing, social media, content creation, and sports reporting.

I am a full-time senior editor and social media manager with CBUStoday, a media outlet dedicated to all things Columbus, Ohio. Our product is a daily newsletter that is sent out to 40,000+ subscribers. I see the content through from start to finish, first brainstorming ideas in a content calendar, then aggregating the most relevant news, writing and editing the newsletter, and building it in Brightspot. I head our sports coverage, attending all Ohio State football and basketball games, and covering other major sporting events in the city, including the MLS Cup and the Savannah Bananas series. I also manage the CBUStoday Instagram page as well, paying close attention to trends and content our audience best engages with. The page has grown from zero to 69,000+ followers in 2.5 years.

I am in my fifth season as a host with the Columbus Clippers baseball team where I am an on-field emcee, entertaining crowds of up to 11,000 during the games. Additionally, I shoot photography at the games to be used for all of the Clippers' social channels. I also work closely with the social team to execute video interviews with the players and fans to be used for the Clippers' Instagram and TikTok pages.

I have remained a freelance broadcaster through the Big Ten Network+ since 2018, calling 30+ games a year for a variety of OSU sports as a color commentator and sideline reporter. This has allowed me to flex my sports knowledge while continuously improving my interviewing skills.

I also have experience working closely with Ohio State Athletics, executing on-camera interviews with coaches and athletes to create "Buckeye Breakdowns" for OSU's social media pages. I currently work with the fan experience team to conduct post-game interviews at men's basketball games to play for 20,000+ fans in the arena.
